Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the BarPulse mobile app and related services (“BarPulse,” “the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you’re using BarPulse on behalf of a business, you agree to them for that business.
2. Who can use BarPulse
BarPulse is a business tool for bar and hospitality teams. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use it. You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
3. The Service
BarPulse is a shift-management tool — shift handovers, an 86 board, prep tracking, conditions, tasks, and related features for bar teams. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves. The Service is currently offered as a beta and may change while we develop it.
4. Your team and content
You and your teammates create content in BarPulse (notes, items, tasks, prep data, and so on). That content belongs to you and your business. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to operate the Service for your team. You’re responsible for the content your team creates and for using BarPulse lawfully.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription, billed through Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you choose until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period. We don’t store your full card details — Stripe handles payment securely. During the beta, the Service may be offered free of charge; we’ll give notice before that changes.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use BarPulse to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload malicious code, attempt to breach or overload the Service, or access data that isn’t yours. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
7. Termination
You can stop using BarPulse and delete your account at any time (Settings → Profile → Delete account, or see our Delete account page). We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Some business content may remain with the business after an individual leaves it, as described in ourPrivacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
BarPulse is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will fit every purpose. You’re responsible for your own operational decisions — BarPulse is a tool to help your team stay organized, not a substitute for your own judgment.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, BarPulse and its team won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use BarPulse after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
